Did you know that 85% of the clothing that is produced and not sold each year ends up in landfills? This means that every year Sydney Harbor could be filled with just unused textile products.
The fashion industry produces 10% of all humanity's carbon emissions. In addition, it is the second sector that consumes the most water resources on the planet together with microplastic pollution in the oceans.
For this reason, ROCKRRIDER only generates our products once we receive an order, avoiding the generation of textile waste derived from overproduction. Our printing partners use the latest technology to create as little waste as possible and save energy and water.
Each product in our catalog is generated on demand, which means that, once you place your order, we will start working to get it to you and we produce it specifically for you. This allows us to avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste of fabrics. We are extremely proud to be part of the sustainable fashion movement.
Our garments are printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. The technology we use makes our prints more sustainable by using less water and less energy, thus reducing our carbon footprint.
The inks we use for printing are water-based and do not contain toxic chemicals. We make sure to remove any remains following the instructions of our suppliers so as not to harm the environment.
Lasting quality
The higher the quality, the longer the product lasts. Before adding new products to our Catalog, we carry out durability, washing and wear tests to make sure they will last. We work with suppliers who make high-quality products that last through many washes, maintain the vividness of printed colors, and the softness of the fabric.
In this way, we join the movement for a more sustainable fashion.
We know that sustainability is essential, and it is motivating to see that our customers also join us in order to be more respectful of the environment. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve, feel free to write to us at soporte@rockrrider.com
